As anyone who has been to the Belmar shopping center at Wadsworth and Alameda can attest, it’s a great development, but is lacking a great restaurant. Well that is no longer the case now that Tstreet Roadhouse is open for business!

The restaurant is located in the former home of the Lane Bryant clothing store and required all supporting MEP systems (i.e., grease interceptor, makeup air unit, kitchen exhaust system, gas service, etc.) to be added to the space. To complicate matters, the restaurant is located on the first floor of a 5-story building with high-end residences above and a parking garage below. The MEP systems that were added required our crews to work not only inside the restaurant, but also in the parking garage, back common corridor, residential stairwell, adjacent tenant spaces, the roof, and outside the front and back of the building, which required an incredible amount of coordination with the landlord, homeowner’s association, and adjacent tenants.

Enough about the stuff most people will never see and don’t really care about and on to what will bring guests in…the architecture. The space is absolutely gorgeous! BOSS Architecture once again shined with their design. Guests are greeted with an entry vestibule of dark bronze storefront and hot rolled steel that is set back into the space and contrasts the clear aluminum storefront of the rest of the building. Dark gray polished concrete floors blend perfectly with the moss green and black glazed thin brick throughout the bar, dining room, and restrooms. And all of these finishes pale next to the dramatic back bar wall of recycled barrister cabinets, an elegant wood ceiling, and oversized steel bar top with decorative and accent lighting perfectly placed everywhere. Multiple seating areas offer various guest experiences from the bar to high top tables to cozy U-shaped booths and a banquette that extends the entire length of the dining room to a comfortable lounge, and even a large outdoor covered patio.

The end result of all of this coordination, paired with another masterful design by BOSS Architecture, led to one of the most beautiful restaurant buildouts in the Denver Metro area (if you don’t believe us, check out all their 5-star reviews on Yelp!).
