Matthew George joined Jordy Construction as a superintendent in 2014.
He has 17 years of experience in the construction industry, Matthew is consistently recognized for his innovative management techniques, including fostering a unique culture of employee responsibility on projects, coordinating vast project teams, and serving as a liaison between owners, architects, subcontractors, and field superintendents.
Before joining Jordy Construction, Matthew worked for a Denver-based environmental consulting firm as the primary advisor on “all things construction,” overseeing the procurement and management of the firm’s commercial construction contracts.
Throughout his career, Matthew has focused on commercial and residential building on a wide variety of projects, ranging from historic renovations and high-rise buildings to oceanfront properties and condominiums. He has built a reputation for seamlessly managing the wide range of tasks required of a skilled superintendent on complex building projects, from bidding, estimating, billing and labor management, to client relations, federal and state agency coordination, value engineering, permitting, and field management.
Matthew holds a number of industry qualifications, including Gerson Lehrman National Structural Construction Consultant, Colorado Certified Project Manager, Colorado Certified Asbestos Building Inspector, Colorado Certified Management Planner, and Colorado Certified Lead Inspector. He is also OSHA 10-hour certified.
